WHAT IS ROOTED KIDS?​

Rooted Kids is more than child care! It is an opportunity for your children to learn the Word of God along side of you - just with their own, creative, child-friendly flair...and probably more playdough, crafts and music than you will use! 😂

 

One of our central goals in serving your family via Rooted Kids is to effectively communicate the Good News of who God is in creative ways. We endeavor to be accountable to God's Word at every turn and believe that your child(ren) are able to believe true things. We know that it is a BIG DEAL for you as parents to entrust your children to us even for a few hours each week, and we do not take that lightly.  

 

All caregivers/teachers are required to have child abuse clearances, criminal background checks and FBI fingerprinting in accordance with state guidelines for volunteering with children. We seek to provide an environment of transparency with you as parents and we welcome any questions or feedback  concerning any of our own actions or those of your child while they are in our care. Caregivers and teachers are encouraged to communicate with parents as soon as possible regarding any behavior or incident that occurs. 

 

Classes for all age children will be located in the lower level of Ridgeline Community Church campus. Classes will be divided by age with a ratio of caregivers according to registration.

 

Our schedule for the age 3 and up classes will be more structured and I'll be communicating via email throughout the semester with parents about what we are learning, optional resources or any announcements needed! 

 

The cost for Rooted Kids per semester is $20 per child (max. $60). This will help offset some of the expenses that we incur throughout the semester.
